For this project, we were tasked with replicating a designer garment. I chose the Kenzo SS21 knitted jumper, which features partial knitting, needle-out techniques, cutouts, and a dynamic range of colours. Over the course of three weeks, I conducted research, developed samples, and completed the final garment. Throughout this process, I learned a variety of new techniques that I will carry forward into future projects, including the use of elastic in knit, creating manual tucks within partially knitted areas, and dyeing yarn.
